Andrew Culp
Nuclear Age Peace Foundation Rudy T. Floyd Intern — Andrew is a graduate of the University of Missouri, Kansas City, Class of 2006. He finished 8th in the nation at the National Debate Tournament this past year, beating out top-ranked students from Harvard and Northwestern. He posted regularly to the Waging Peace Blog, is a major contributor to the Think Outside the Bomb national network, and is helping to initiate a nationwide project to network university students to work for nuclear disarmament and demilitarization.

Christy Escobar
Christy is student government officer entering her second year as a Global Studies and Dramatic Arts double-major at UC Santa Barbara. This past spring, she introduced a bill to the UCSB Associated Students' Legislative Council to advocate for the UC Regents to sever their ties with the Los Alamos and Livermore laboratories. The bill will be voted on in the fall. She is also co-authoring a play about nuclear weapons that will debut at the "Think Outside the Bomb" conference in Santa Barbara in the fall. |

Nams Gidwani
Nuclear Age Peace Foundation Lena Chang Intern — Nams is entering her fourth year at UC Santa Barbara as a Global Studies major. She first learned of the work of the Foundation during a lecture by David Krieger in Peace Foundation Chairman Richard Falk's spring 2005 class. In a recommendation letter on her behalf, Professor Falk referred to her as "a former favorite student of mine. a strong candidate on every count. She is very dedicated, smart, and gracious." Among her many projects as an intern, Nams is researching and co-authoring an in-depth study of the history of corruption and cover-ups at the Los Alamos lab, is helping prepare for UC Nuclear Free campaign fall activities, and is helping organize the October Think Outside the Bomb conference in Santa Barbara. |

Kamara O'Conner
A graduate of UC Berkeley (Class of 2006), Kamara co-facilitated a university-accredited class called "UC and the Bomb" in Spring 2006, a student-led history and critical analysis of the University's deep and decisive involvement with nuclear weapons research, design, testing, maintenance, and production. She facilitated another iteration of the class in fall 2005. She has also been a core member of the UC Nuclear Free campaign partner group in Berkeley, Fiat Pax, and has volunteered with the nuclear disarmament non-profit Nevada Desert Experience |

Sophia Ritchie
A core member of the UC Nuclear Free campaign's affiliate at the UC Berkeley campus, Sophia is entering her fourth year as a Peace and Conflict Studies major. This past spring, she co-facilitated the "UC and the Bomb" class with Kamara. A Berkeley native, she has been active since childhood in a variety of peace and social justice campaigns. |

Will Parrish
Nuclear Age Peace Foundation Youth Empowerment Director — Will graduated with honors from UC Santa Cruz in 2004, only to have his diploma temporarily withheld by UCSC's upper-administration as a penalty for helping organize a protest. The NAPF Youth Empowerment Initiative includes six active programs and three web sites —

, and www.ucnuclearfree.org. Will has given over 25 public lectures and presentations in the past year regarding nuclear disarmament and youth empowerment. |
